My Beloved Is
A Declaration
​
The Lord God is holy. He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and last, the ancient of days. He is the God of heaven who reveals mysteries. The King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only wise God whose counsel stands forever. He is the I AM whose eyes are in every place. Precious are his thoughts to me.
​
My beloved is the chief among ten thousand, the desire of the nations whose love is better than wine. He is the Word made flesh, the One who speaks to me in a dream, my bridegroom King. He alone is the perfect One whose presence shall be my dwelling place. Because of Him, everything is made beautiful in its time.
​
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, he shines forth. He is a consuming fire and the Lord of peace. Yahweh, the God of compassion and mercy who forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. His unfailing love for me is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. God’s lovingkindness is better than life and my lips shall praise him.

His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His mercies are new every morning, great is his faithfulness. Who could ever wrap their minds around the riches of God, the depth of his wisdom, and the marvel of his perfect knowledge? Who could ever explain the wonder of his decisions or search out the mysterious way he carries out his plans? I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that could be written about all that He has done.

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. He is the God of hope who rejoices over me with singing, loves me, and never leaves. His voice is like the sound of many waters. His countenance is like the sun shining in its strength. He is the Lion of Judah who roars from Zion. My stronghold, my refuge, the Lamb who was slain, and my Redeemer who lives. The Christ who makes his home in my heart.

He rules by his power forever, is a priest forever, yet is gentle and lowly in heart; always living to make intercession for me. His face shines on me and is gracious. To him who parted the Red Sea in two, to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
